What is Foco Comics?
Foco, a Spanish word, derived from the Latin focus, also meaning hearth, fireplace, altar. In military theory, the foco is that small vanguard unit which enters the field of battle armed only with conviction, knowledge and the minimum tools necessary for success. The foco creates the conditions for victory through force of will.
Foco Comics is not a military faction-- this Foco is a bare-bones independent comics collective founded by artist Richard Paquette. Comics, in their highest form, are labors of love, works of art and literature. Foco Comics seeks to create, publish, and market graphic work by artists whose medium happens to be words and pictures.
